Privacy Policy

Scope and operator status

CannBids is a pre-release business marketplace application. The final legal entity, jurisdiction-specific disclosures, and any required regulator notices must be confirmed by the owner before commercial use. This policy applies to this application and does not cover independent buyers, sellers, hosting providers, or sites they operate.

Information handled

• Account and profile details, including name, email, phone, business, license, address, and authentication identifiers.
• Marketplace activity, including listings, bids, alerts, seller-access requests, and records needed to secure and administer the service.
• User-submitted product descriptions and images. If an authorized user chooses an AI feature, the relevant prompt, image, and live auction context are sent server-side to OpenAI to produce the requested result.
• Technical and security data produced by the hosting, authentication, database, and application infrastructure, such as timestamps, session information, logs, and error records.

CannBids does not collect card, bank, cryptocurrency-wallet, or escrow credentials in this build. It does not request METRC credentials.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, enforce seller and administrator access, display seller-safe profiles and listings, record bids, answer support and security needs, process account requests, and maintain the service. CannBids does not claim to sell personal information or use it for cross-site behavioral advertising.

Disclosure and processors

Information may be handled by infrastructure providers needed to operate the application, including Supabase for authentication and database services, the application host, and OpenAI only when an AI feature is invoked. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary for security, legal process, protection of rights, or a properly reviewed business transfer. The owner must complete vendor, transfer, and data-processing reviews before launch.

Retention, deletion, and security

Data should be kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, security, disputes, and applicable recordkeeping duties. Authenticated users can request account deletion from account settings after password reauthentication and typed confirmation. Some records may be deleted, de-identified, or retained where a legal or compliance duty requires it. No security control can guarantee absolute protection.

Choices and rights

Users can review or correct profile information in the application and can contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, or another privacy right that may apply. Identity and authority may be verified before a request is completed. No response deadline or jurisdiction-specific right is promised until the owner confirms the applicable law.

Minors and regulated products

CannBids is not directed to children or intended for consumer use by minors. Accounts and marketplace activity must comply with all applicable age, licensing, cannabis, advertising, and jurisdiction rules.

Changes

Material changes will be identified by a new version and effective date. The launch version must reflect the actual operator, vendors, retention schedule, and jurisdictions before production traffic is accepted.
